Description

Sweet William is a designer chalet with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and multiple spacious living areas with an airy dining room and kitchen. We have a mix of modern and vintage charm, housing a Nintendo 64 for a retro game session and a classic record player for the vinyl enthusiasts.

Temp membership to Lake Naomi is optional with additional fees.

We are family and pet friendly – government issued photo ID required for all guests over 18.

Interaction

I won’t be available in person and am available via text/app messaging 8am-9pm. I am here for you during your stay, and our level of interaction is up to you – I am a message or phone call away. You will be able to self-check in and out.

Privacy is respected, the host is available to help plan activities, give directions, and advice as requested.

Neighborhood

Lake Naomi Club is a recreational community in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. It includes a 277-acre lake with non-motorized boating, fishing, swimming, and sailing.

Lake Naomi Club also offers an outdoor Olympic-sized pool, a second outdoor pool with an aquatic climbing wall, a nine-hole executive golf course, a tennis center and a clubhouse with restaurant and pub. The recreational staff offers activities for all ages. Additional temporary membership fees apply – these fees are NOT included in the rental fees.

Additionally, there is a 56,000-square-foot community center just 5 minutes from our home with an indoor pool and a splash park, indoor tennis, a fitness center, a game room and a teen area.

Access

Our property is accessed via a smart lock with a unique code once rental forms are submitted with government issued photo IDs to verify age and identity for those over 18. We have a ring camera facing the driveway at the front door.

Guests may explore the entire property and our fire pit.

We are located in one of the most beautiful communities in the Poconos – Lake Naomi – a 5-Star Platinum rated community. Additional temporary membership fees apply – these fees are NOT included in the rental fees.

**OPTIONAL LAKE NAOMI TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP (July-August only)**

Summer rentals are SATURDAY – SATURDAY ONLY during July – August with a 2 week minimum stay to be eligible for a temporary membership.

We offer 6 temporary memberships, first come, first served.

A Temporary Membership is required to access the amenities and is available for an additional fee provided the homeowner is a member in good standing.

Membership to the club provides access to the lakes and beaches, the clubhouse restaurants, participation in recreation and social activities, the recreation tennis courts, two outdoor pools, tennis (court fees are additional) and golf (greens fees are additional).

It also provides access to the Logan Steele Community Center which includes usage of an indoor pool with zero-depth entry with an indoor spray park, adult whirlpool, steam room and sauna, state-of‐ the-art fitness center, aerobic room, multi-purpose room for various sports, cafe, indoor tot lot, outdoor playground and wireless internet usage.

You also can forgo Temporary Membership for your entire stay if you do not plan on using any community amenities and enjoy all the local activities that the Poconos has to offer.

Space

We only rent to groups age 25 + or families – NO PARTIES allowed.
All guests + pets MUST be registered with photo ID for guests 18+
A pre-arrival form and rental agreement is required for all rentals.
Additional temporary membership fees apply – these fees are NOT included in the rental fees.

Sweet William is a private chalet inside the Lake Naomi community and we offer temporary Lake Naomi memberships to renters of two weeks or more during summer 2023 – additional fees apply, these are not included in the rental rate. The community amenities include 2 Lakes with 5 beaches to choose from, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor 4-season pool and recreational center, and a Club Restaurant.

Near-by attractions including 4 ski resorts, 3 indoor / 2 outdoor waterparks, 2 casinos, outlet malls, zipline, ropes course, hiking, horseback riding, multiple golf courses, go-carting, Bushkill falls, fishing, white water rafting, NASCAR, much more.

Transit

A car is required for our area as there is little to no public transportation. We allow 3 cars in our driveway.

The Temporary Membership covers two adults and up to six dependent children/grandchildren ages 4-23. Children ages 3 and under do not need a membership badge. Adult children and their spouses may be added to the membership in the category of Special Family Members for $40 per adult per week.

Guest Information
Please note that the Temporary Member MUST be with their Guests at all times.
The Community Center currently allows guests, 6 guests/weekdays and 4 guests/weekends. ($10 per guest daily)
The Lake Naomi Clubhouse currently allows guests to dine with Members. (No guest fee)
Golf currently allows 7 guests/weekdays and 3 guests/weekends. ($20 weekday per guest/$25 weekend, holiday per guest)
Beaches currently allow guests, 8 guests/weekdays and 6 guests/weekends. (No guest fee)

Canoes, Kayaks and Rowboats are available to rent at Club Beach through Labor Day Only and can be arranged through the Boathouse Shed
Boat rental (through Labor Day only) – 2 hour rentals – $40.00, Half day rentals – $55.00, Full day rental – $70.00
**If bringing your own watercraft, it must be registered and have a LNC sticker. The cost is $65. (No sculling boats permitted)**
Lake Naomi Tennis charges a court fee for members of $5.00 per person for doubles and $10 per person for singles.
Timber Trails Golf Course charges a greens fee for members as follows: Weekday – $15.00, Weekends & Holidays-$18.00 (there is a $10 replay fee added for 18 holes-must book two tee times)
